Crossroads
Animal Hospital is the only full-service companion animal hospital in
Strongsville accredited by the
American Animal Hospital Association
(AAHA). The AAHA is a veterinary organization dedicated to the continuing
improvement of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada. The standards
for hospital and high quality patient care are being continually reviewed and
revised. All member hospitals must meet the standards set by AAHA in order for
them to keep their accreditation. Accreditation is achieved by passing a
rigorous inspection of our hospital facility, equipment, patient care and
records, and standards of practice excellence. In our most recent inspection in
July of 2006, we received an outstanding review, and are very proud of the
efforts of our hospital team in making our hospital the excellent facility it
is.
We
have been accredited members of AAHA since 1978, and will continue to strive to
meet and exceed the standards of the AAHA.
In
addition to AAHA, Drs. Peacock, Cooper,Arnold, and Siclair hold membership in
the
American Veterinary Medical Association,
the
Ohio Veterinary Medical Association,
and the Cleveland Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Peacock is also a member
of the Governing Board of the
National
Association of Veterinary Emergency Clinics.
